Combining treatments to help you achieve your dream smile

We are proud to offer our patients the chance to transform their smile with a smile makeover. We can use a combination of treatments to help you achieve your dream results, from beautifully simple teeth whitening to the complete coverage of implants and crowns.

During an initial consultation, we examine your teeth and discuss your preferred outcome and improvements you wish to make. We may have to correct oral health issues, such as gum disease, before beginning cosmetic treatment However, once your mouth is fit and healthy, we can begin enhancing your smile.

A smile makeover example

The order of the treatments are really important for the makeover. Here is an example of a standard makeover that includes implants and whitening.

Straightening

If you wish to have your teeth straightened, it’s usually always the first treatment we carry out as we will want to get your teeth in the right position. Invisalign is a popular choice for straightening as the aligners are near invisible and can be removed when eating and cleaning.

Placing implants

Once your teeth have reached their ideal position, we take scans ready for the implants. These scans give us a good idea of your bone density and the best position to place the implants. It takes a few months for the implant to fuse to the jaw bone. Once healed, we will arrange for whitening.

Whitening

If you wish to make the most of a makeover, whitening is a must. It makes sense to have whitening before replacing missing teeth as crowns and bridges will be shade-matched to the existing teeth. We offer home kits that can brighten your smile in a couple of weeks.

Placing restorations

The final step is placing the restorations, which will be custom-made at a dental laboratory. Once the crowns have been made, we invite you back for the fitting. The crowns are then placed on the implants.
